Creative experiences are extremely effective ways to build buzz and awareness for MADE’s clients and SKYY’s newest Infusions flavor, Watermelon, was no exception. In order to create a media and influencer momentum, MADE planned and executed a playful San Francisco Summer Pool Party with SKYY Infusions Watermelon at the forefront. This watermelon-themed pool party was invitation-only and included 100 media and influencers. The festivities took place at San Francisco’s Phoenix Hotel and Pool and included all things watermelon, summer, and SKYY Vodka for an unforgettable experience.
Activations included SKYY-branded cornhole games, a cotton candy station, a photo booth complete with props, boozy watermelon popsicles, and a Watermelon Infusions cocktail menu in collaboration with Rye on the Road. Prior to the event, MADE created and seeded a SKYY mailer filled with watermelon gear to top-tier invitees to drive media and influencer buzz prior to the event. Guests were encouraged to show SKYY Vodka social engagement through event signage, social incentives, Instagrammable photo-ops, and influencer attendance.
As a result, MADE PR garnered 820,000 social impressions and 17.35M press impressions for SKYY Vodka.
